Ar. Sahil Tanveer

Sahil Tanveer is an architect, author, educator, filmmaker, and AI-in-design researcher whose work lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and architectural research. He is the founder of RBDS (Red Brick Design Studio) and RBDS AI Lab — two interconnected practices that bring together design, speculative thinking, and advanced AI workflows.

Over the years, Sahil has established himself as a leading voice in the evolving dialogue between design and machine intelligence. With more than fifty keynotes and talks delivered across India and internationally, he engages audiences ranging from professional architects and real estate developers to lighting designers, retail brands, educators, and students.

Sahil's authorship includes Delirious Architecture: Midjourney for Architects and the multi-part Prompt Engineering for Architects and Designers series. His research extends to authoring "Beyond Automation: AI as a Catalyst for Architectural Thinking" (2025), a paper proposing a reflexive, workflow-based methodology where AI augments design cognition rather than replacing it.

Beyond writing and research, Sahil is also a filmmaker. His AI documentary The Atavism of an Old Ideal: The Centre of Intelligence was screened at the International Film Festival of Larissa in Greece. RBDS AI Lab has become recognised as one of the few multidisciplinary practices pioneering AI-first design ecosystems — featured in leading design platforms including Parametric Architecture Magazine.
